Garnier, a global leader in beauty, aimed to highlight its new sustainability initiative, "Green Beauty," by creating an immersive, interactive experience that would engage a worldwide audience.

The brief

Garnier wanted to showcase its commitment to sustainability on a global scale, but traditional event formats were no longer feasible. The challenge was to create an engaging, digital-first experience that could reach a diverse, international audience.

Our Approach

We developed Green Village, a 2D interactive, gamified digital experience to launch Garnier’s Green Beauty initiative. The microsite was designed as a virtual green world, with live streaming from three global regions to introduce Garnier’s sustainability efforts and new product range.

Execution:

  • Gamified Experience:
    Visitors could explore Green Village, navigating different areas to learn about Garnier’s sustainability efforts in an interactive and engaging way. Each section of the village highlighted a different aspect of Garnier’s green initiative.
  • Live Event Streaming:
    The event was live-streamed across three regions, creating a global experience. Audiences from different time zones tuned in to watch keynote presentations, live Q&A sessions, and product showcases.
  • Sustainability Focus:
    Every touchpoint within Green Village emphasized Garnier’s commitment to sustainability, from showcasing eco-friendly products to behind-the-scenes insights into Garnier’s green initiatives.
